Look to the aspect the DW makes in the composite tho. The easy aspects (trine, sexile, and the quintiles) will promote creativity and acceptance while the hard aspects are difficult to work with over time and can lead to disillusionment. Got Gemini??I read somewhere that Neptune is the higher octave of venus and when contacted by Venus through conjunction, sextile, and trine, acts like a benefic. Venus Neptune harmonious contacts feel like an other worldly love, a love that is surreal and touches deep on the soul. Its a kind of love that just holding the other quietly is like a transcending act. Its almost as if the act of physical sex cheapens it but by no means makes it platonic.Im in no way trying to romanticize this aspect, its just my personal experience. Ive read in many similar threads this is other people's experience as well. On the flip side, some say Venus idealizes Neptune and when Venus takes off the rose colored glasses and sees Neptune for who they really are, they are disappointed. This hasn't been my experience but it has been some others.------------------Gemini SunLibra MoonGemini MercuryCancer VenusVirgo MarsVirgo AscAnd yes, I'm a guy!Gemmy.VenusDiSiriusCheck how's Neptune involved in the natals, whether the energy is like an alien or familiar.Gemmy.OdetteMostly idealisation! If you REALLY wanna be "deep" about it...Venus is love but in a more shallow sense than Neptune, especially if you think about the Venusian association with beauty, Aphrodite, pastimes and other pleasing but relatively superficial things. Neptune is associated with love in the most profound sense, to the point of selflessness and true empathy, and all the traits associated with the sign Pisces, which is the last zodiac sign and said to be the most evolved for those very reasons. Hell, think about the Age of Pisces and the story of Jesus Christ sacrificing Himself for the whole of humanity, which fits that Pisces axis theme of love in the highest, purest sense.Similar to how Mars is just the lower manifestation of Pluto - brute, physical to get what it wants in its purest manifestation. Mars is combat and true aggression. It reminds me of this comment I read in a Natalie Wood bio, where Nicholas Ray told an actor that challenged him to a fist fight, "At some point you're going to have to start using your brains", then walked away from him. Pluto is what you get when it (or you) evolves past the level of using brute force (whether verbal, physical, psychological, whatever), to get what you want.Am I even making any sense here?Gemmy.
